Our workshops energise teachers, parents and carers by opening up the real online spaces children use every day from gaming and group chats to creativity platforms, trends and challenges while giving clear, practical strategies to manage risks and stay safe.
Our mission is simple: reconnect adults with children’s digital lives so they can build trust, spark better conversations, and help young people feel safe, supported and ready to thrive online.

For Parents & Carers
We run supportive, down-to-earth sessions for parents and carers that open up the real digital lives of young people what they’re doing online, why it matters to them, and where challenges can appear.
Our goal is to give families the confidence and tools to start better conversations, set healthy boundaries and build safer digital habits at home without judgment, fear or shutting down their child’s world.
Together, we help adults connect with their children’s online lives so they feel informed, calmer and better equipped to keep them safe.

About Us
Tethered was founded by digital strategist and online safety advocate LJ Scott, who brings over 20 years of experience across digital communications, child wellbeing and education.
As both a parent and a digital professional, LJ understands the reality of growing up and raising children in a world where online life shapes friendships, identity and everyday experiences.
She’s passionate about helping adults move beyond fear and overwhelm, and instead connect, learn and navigate the digital world alongside their children.
Her belief is simple: when adults feel informed and confident, young people feel safer, supported and truly understood.
